Tarot and Readings
Each and every Tarot card reflects a human characteristic, trait, emotion or life situation. The notion that there is need to be wary of the cards, or that they may be evil and negative is absolutely ridiculous. If you are seeing evil or nasty in the cards, you need to take a good long look at your life!!
Somewhat like a mirror, the cards reflect what is going on within ourselves, and around us. They offer guidance, often obvious observations we just aren’t seeing ourselves because we are so caught up in our day to day lives. Yes the cards are great entertainment, but if a reading results in us taking a closer look at ourselves and to reassess our ways, then it’s money well spent!
Obviously there are cards which appear ‘happy’ or ‘uplifting’ compared to others which seem dark. One card many react badly to is the Death card as they fear it represents a physical death. The Death card will tell of an ‘end’; the end of a relationship, a job, a way of life, a habit etc. As with everything though, there is a silver lining to this card. There needs to be an end or finality to one aspect of your life (other cards will tell which area is affected), in order for something new or stronger to come. We are all vulnerable to the Death card, everyone has at one time or another, a situation which must end. It is no longer serving us, we are no longer happy with it, and although it may not be easy to finish it off, we must in order to move on. It’s not an easy time, but its also not the end!
Before and after every reading the cards are cleansed. American White Sage is a favourite. Spirit Guides and Healing Angels guide each reading.
